Every year we retell the story of the Jews exodus from Egypt on a full moon in April. Our home was cleaned of hametz and old winter energy, as we welcome our special guests for the seder. We ushered in new hope and springtime beginnings. Ayla marched around with a drum dancing and raising energy in our souls. Caleb Lev, took his role as bartender and graciously poured glasses with his beautiful giving heart. We reclined on pillows, read from Jessica's Hagaddah's which marked their Chai seder this year and feasted on traditional Jewish Passover food. Many of the recipes were passed down from our Grandmothers, as we welcomed in our ancestors spirits to our seder table. Others recipes of course were new to the children who themselves took great delight in preparing for Passover week. The sweet yummies, chocolate carmel matzah with nuts, macaroons and haroset were fun to make with the family. Stories from passover's of years past are retold, songs sung, afikomen found and so so much love and prayers are always send out into the universe. We share so that our children will always remember. MaMa's off to prepare the last matzah brei of the Passover week with a huge kvelling heart.
