One starry night and two beautiful days spend in the redwood forest and on the river with our new school community. We relaxed and got to know each other a little more, while our little people soaked in some nature and camping food. Feeling so blessed to be surrounded by parents who are allowing their children to enfold at their pace. We converted our van into a camper decorated with lots of play silks and snuggled happily to sleep.

so lovely to see you back, my dear. all that nature fun makes me homesick. there's much i can do, but i cannot turn city streets into redwood trails or lakes into oceans. we persist, though...teacher was over for a lovely equinox feast, rachel-syle, with a ritual under our big red maple.
