spiritual beings

I am constantly amazed by our magical children.

After a rather frustrating dinner hour, with fussy lil ones, I settled into some dishes and breathing time. My dear, four and three quarter year old (so sweet how they say their ages) Caleb, runs into the kitchen carrying a large framed picture of Amma. Mama, he exclaimed proudly, " we need to take, Ayla, to see her" Oh, i said beaming, Amma. Yes, she is sooo beautiful. Didn't we see her when I was a bebe? Then he proceeded to add her photo to our love altar (pretty in pink - feb nature table). This made me extra happy. The intelligence of the heart, ahh, that feels good. And a flyer in the mail today for a speaking engagement with Joseph Chillton Pearce, author of the acclaimed Magical Child. Can't make this special event, but here's some of his words to inspire and reflect on. Heredity accounts for about 65 percent of a young persons capacity, intellect, intelligence, abilities, but the 35 percent furnished by the environment determines whether or not the 65 percent gets any chance to unfold. We must be who we want our children to become.
